How payments work

Buyers pay TermlyPlan in advance, the payment is then held secured in escrow and released to the seller after the order is delivered and completed.

Sellers upload their resources to the marketplace, and when a buyer places an order, TermlyPlan receives the payment on behalf of the seller and delivers the order. However, the buyer have to mark the order as complete so that payment can be released to the seller, but if the buyer fails to complete (accept) or reject the order, the order will automatically be completed after 24 hours.

TermlyPlan charge sellers marketplace commission which ranges from 25% to 40% of the total order value. For example, when an order is successfully delivered and completed, sellers on the Free Basic Listing Package receive 60% of the total order value, while sellers on the Standard and Premium Packages receive 70% and 75% of the total order value respectively.

So, if a product costs ₦1,000 then sellers on the Free Basic Plan will receive ₦600, sellers on Standard Plan will receive ₦700, and sellers on the Premium Plan will receive for ₦750, for completed order.

What are my payment options when ordering a product?

Buyers have two payment options when placing an order on TermlyPlan, the automated payment gateway via Paystack or the manual bank deposit/transfer.

TermlyPlan Payment options

(1) Automatic Payment Option: Buyers can make payments via the Paystack payment gateways with their credit/debit (ATM) card or through online transfer or USSD.

Payment using the Paystack gateway is automatically processed and is therefore very fast. With this payment option, buyers get instant access to their order download link (which is also automatically sent to their email address).

(2) Manual Payment Option: Buyers can also opt in for the manual payment option, which is the direct bank deposit or transfer. When you choose this method of payment, at checkout, your order will be place on-hold and you will be given our account details to make your payment.

After payment, you are expected to send your proof of payment and order details to support@termlyplan.com for your order to be removed from on-hold after proof of payment is verified.

This payment method is manual and is therefore slow. We highly recommend the first payment option.

What is Paystack?

Paystack is one of the largest payment gateway in Africa, utilized by major companies like Iroko TV, Air Peace, BusinessDay, PiggyVest, God Is Good Motors (GIGM), SceneOne TV, etc. We utilize Paystack to ensure the safety and security of your payments.

Are The Payments Secure?

Absolutely. Payments are processed by Paystack, a payment platform that exceeds the most stringent industry standards for security. Have a read of Paystack’s security features.

This helps guarantee that you will always get what you paid for. And for the seller, it guarantees, that for every successful order, they will get paid.

You may dispute an order and get refund if the order falls short of what the seller promised on the product details page (product description), but you must raise the dispute within 24 hours of receiving the download link.

Refunds to buyers, how it works

Because the products we offer are digital resources and cannot be returned, your order is only eligible for a refund in the following situations (subject to our 3 days refund window)

(1) You mistakenly purchased two or more of the same product: We’ll gladly refund you for the duplicate purchase(s).

(2) Technical Issues: In the event that there is a technical issue with the product that the seller cannot resolve after becoming aware of the issue.

(3) Misrepresented product description: We consider a product to be “misrepresented” when the delivered product does not match the description in the product details page or when what the seller said is included in the product is not included.

Misrepresentation does not include subjective opinions on the quality or appearance of a product.

For example, a product would be misrepresented if the product description promised 50 questions and answers, but the delivered product has 50 questions but no answers.

A product would NOT be misrepresented if a buyer believes that the product “doesn’t look good” or “isn’t high quality compared to other products purchased.”

We’re unable to process refunds in the following situations:

  • You no longer need the purchased product.
  • You’ve changed your mind about your purchase or found another product you like better.
  • You lack the sufficient expertise to use the product.
  • You don’t have the correct software (as described in the listing or product details page) to open and edit the product or you are not just familiar with the file type.
  • You feel that the item is of low quality.
  • You claim the product or material is experiencing a technical issue, but you are unwilling or unable to provide sufficient evidence for the technical issue.
  • You purchased the product over 3 days ago.
