A Step-by-Step Guide to Buying Your Teaching Resources on TermlyPlan

Step 1: Sign up Free

Create an account for free. With your user account, you can save your favorite product, use our in-built messaging feature to contact seller, browse the marketplace and place order.

Step 2: Browse the marketplace

Browse the marketplace for the product you need. Use the category and filters to further narrow down your search. Found what you want? Click on it to view the details page.

Step 3: Place your Order

You will find all the details you need on the product details page. Download the seller’s free sample to see how his/her product looks like. To place your order, Click the “Buy Now” button.

Step 4: Download your order

Once payment is confirmed, you will automatically be sent the download link (download link is also sent to your email). To access the download on the website, go to Account > Orders. Check it to ensure it’s what you order, and contact the seller if you have any issues.

Step 5: Complete Transaction

Happy with your order? If yes, go ahead and mark the order as complete so we can release payment to the seller. However, if the order has issue, you can raise a dispute and get a refund with 3 days. NOTE: Orders are automatically completed after 3 days.

Step 6: Leave Feedback

Finally, help make the community a better place by sharing your experience. You can do this by visiting the product page, Click on “Write a Review”, and leave a detailed review of the seller and the teaching resource you ordered. This will help other buyers make informed buying decision.

How do I search for teaching resources on TermlyPlan?

Select the right category/subcategory and search, then use filters such as grade level, subject, state scheme, school term, file format and price to further narrow down your search and find the perfect teaching resource.

How do I communicate with sellers?

You can use our in-built messaging system to privately ask questions and discuss details directly with the seller.

Can I see the product sample before purchasing?

Yes, sellers are made to upload a sample of their product to their profile which is available for free download by prospective buyers. The free sample helps you to assess the general quality of the seller’s work. In addition to that, buyers are encourage to go through all the information about the product they want to purchase on the product’s details page.

What payment methods are accepted?

Buyers have two payment options when placing an order on TermlyPlan, the automated payment gateway via Paystack or the manual bank deposit/transfer. For added security, buyers pay TermlyPlan in advance, the payment is then held secured in escrow account and released to the seller after the order is delivered and completed.

How does Escrow protect Buyers and Sellers?

When a buyer pays TermlyPlan in advance for a product, the money is held secured in escrow account by TermlyPlan, so that the buyer can’t retract the funds and the seller can’t access them either, the money is safe until the sale closes. For buyers, this ensure that they will get what they ordered or be refunded and for Sellers, it ensure that they will always get paid for delivered and completed orders. The escrow service prevents both sellers and buyers from falling prey to scams. Sellers can’t run away with your money and Buyer won’t get your product and refuse to pay.

Can I return a product if it doesn’t meet my expectations?

No physical product will be shipped, all our products are digital downloads. And due to the nature of digital purchases, we don’t accept returns, exchanges or refund. However, when the delivered product does not match the description in the product details page or when what the seller said is included in the product is not included. You can raise dispute and our support team will investigate and if found true, you will be refunded.

To raise a dispute, go to Account > Orders and click on “view” to open the product order page. Scroll down and click on “dispute” to dispute the order.

NOTE: You can only dispute an order when it’s status is “Processing”. Completed orders can’t be disputed. An order is automatically completed after 3 days of making the purchase, so dispute MUST be raised within 3 days of making the purchase.

How do I leave feedback for a seller?

After the transaction, navigate to the sellers listing and leave a detailed review to share your experience with the community.
